A noble woman with great passion for people, Tricia Lynch Moten is a Chief Nursing Officer in industry, where she enjoys building other leaders to be great. In ministry, Tricia is a minister, worshipper in song and dance, and a Christian Counselor where she gets to share the love of God with others.
She started her pursuit for nursing at Prairie View A & M and later received her Associate’s Degree from Lee College of Baytown. Tricia continued her education at Chamberlain College of Nursing with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing, and is now pursuing her Masters in Nursing with Executive Specialty and will graduate with honors in September 2019.
She is a mother of two amazing children that doctors said she would never have, but God had the final say. Tricia is married to the awesome, humble, loving, and giving Derrick A. Moten who supports her in all she does. Raised in Houston, Texas on the North side by her parents, the late Tommy Lee Goree, and her beautiful mom, Nola Goree, Tricia and her brother, TJ Goree, grew up with a large family and a grandmother (Patsy) that instilled in everyone the meaning of family and unconditional love. This is the same love that continues to nourish and overflow into her daily life.
Tricia has been an honoree of D-Mars and the top 50 Black Professionals and Entrepreneurs award in 2018. Tricia has faced many obstacles to hinder the process of her becoming a nurse, a writer, and even a Christian; but she never ceases fighting for what she believes.
